Superhero

When we were younger, the importance we placed on super heros was incredible. We played with their toys, watched their syndicated television shows, and basically worshiped the ground that they flew over. We recognized, even as children, the importance of good triumphing over evil and knowing when to stand up for something. An article online talked about modern day adults who are donning masks and fighting for justice. While I applaud their efforts and laugh a little at the over use of spandex, I recognize their actions and wish we lived in a world where a person didn’t need a cape and a mask to shine a light on injustice.
