STL Dog Park
July 25, 2011 No Comments‘Good news for St. Louis Dog Owners! A new dog park will be opening in Chesterfield towards September, 2011. I don”t know about you guys, but my furry friend absolutely LOVES any interaction he gets with other dogs, and for the past four years I have lived about a five minute walk from a great dog park in Columbia, MO. Now we’re back in Chesterfield and although there are several dog parks in the St. Louis Area there aren’t any within a 10-minute drive from me. But around September, a dog park is opening on Old Baxter Rd. near Clarkson. The 2-acre, fenced in park will be open Monday-Sunday from sunrise to sunset. Residents can purchase a pass for $10 (for each dog their first year), which includes a dog tag that your dog will wear whenever you visit the park. You can buy dog tags at Chesterfield City Hall, 690 Chesterfield Parkway West. Make sure you bring proof of residency and current shot records. The park will also have a separate area for small dogs, several benches and pavilion to keep in the shade while your pooch plays. Get excited! This park is going to be great. Let us know if you hear any more information about exactly when they are planning on opening this park!
