Squirrel, for dinner

A supermarket in the UK recently started selling squirrel as meat. I’m never one to not try new things, but squirrel seems to be a bit much. Really, I’ve gotten so used to seeing squirrels scurry around that eating them never really became an option for me. But apparently Budgens owner Andrew Thornton feels squirrel is more sustainable than other meats and that people should be eating them. While I wouldn’t see this as a major issue, what if it catches on? Would you go to your local restaurant and order squirrel burgers? How about a squirrel steak? What are your thoughts on squirrel, the meat of the “future”?
