Reconnecting on the Internet

July 17, 2011 No Comments

At the end of WWII, many families were left torn apart. To this day, survivors are left with only a memory of the ones they lost so long ago. However, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. has decided to use the modern day tools that technology has given us to reconnect people with their past, whether they wish to be reconnected or not. On the NPR website, they go into more detail about the museum’s attempt to gather photos and stories of those that are still alive and went through the Holocaust. The museum is using Facebook as one of their tools to do so. Check out the story and let us know what you think about this.
