Pick Your Poison

May 24, 2011 No Comments

I have never liked bars, now it’s not that I don’t like liquor, smoke or people. I just don’t really see the point in them anymore. With a click of the mouse you can find about a million people that like the exact same things you do, hell you can even find love online. Bars in the current age seem to have lost their relevance, as newer ways to meet people have come to the fore. The other factor is that as our government slides more and more toward a nanny state it is surprising that a bar can even remain in business. I think that the era of the bar has died. I don’t think they are all going to close mind you, but I do think that unless something changes soon that they are going to become a dying breed. What do you think is the relevance of a bar is? Do you enjoy them and why? I would like to hear you thoughts on the matter.
