Parents turning to tattoos for help
February 7, 2012 No Comments
Parents are turning to “SafetyTat” for help. Kids wonder off and don”t always pay attention to their surroundings. Parents have this dilemma often and finding their kids can be a little easier. The SafetyTat QR Tat is a temporary tattoo. This tattoo is made with parents in mind. The tattoo is an emergency contact and the custom QR code. This can tell any person who finds a child that this is the number to call. With the custom QR code, the parent/guardian can program the tattoo to store up to 90 characters.
So say that a child gets hurt and has to go to the Emergency Room for treatment, doctors can’t properly treat a child without knowing if they have a condition, such as diabetes and need insulin, asthmatic and need an inhaler, or autistic and can be combative, or be allegoric to some medications, such as penicillin. The parent could put multiple contacts and other information like specific information on how to get their child to take a nap or what they like to eat, whatever you want as long as it is less than 90 characters.
The downfall is if a person abducts a child. That person could know personal information about the parents and/or guardians that could possibly lead to something terrible or maybe not. This new technology is made to benefit the parents so in case anything does happen their child(ren) can be properly taken care of without serious consequences.
This is no doubt a controversial topic. What do you think?
