Joplin Tornado Victims
June 9, 2011 No CommentsThe Missouri Department of Public Safety says that instead of reporting directly to a disaster area where the Joplin tornadoes hit just a few days ago, you can call (800) 427-4626 or 2-1-1 if you are interested in helping out. If you would like to lend your medical expertise, please visit https://www.showmeresponse.org/ for more information on how you can help. Those of you that cannot lend your helping hands but would like to donate instead, you can find out how to go about doing so here or by calling one of the numbers above. They also have a website you can go on to either let your loved ones know that you are okay or find out if one of your loved ones is safe and well by clicking here. For more detailed information, you can visit this site. If you volunteered or have volunteered to help those in Joplin who suffered the effects of the recent tornadoes, please let us know what your thoughts and experiences are.
