Get with it! Apps you should download

If you are anything like me, you constantly look for ways that you can fully utilize your smart phone. I mean, you paid $400 dollars for it so it’s only smart to try and get as much use out of it as possible.

While games on your phone may be fun, I get much more satisfaction in downloading apps that are going to enhance my personal, social, or business life. Today I am going to take a look at some new apps that standout and will make your life a little easier.

When the new Iphone 4s came out and I got my first look at Siri, I was in love. Not only is the app extremely useful, but can be pretty entertaining at times. I couldn’t help but to be somewhat jealous of my more technologically fortunate friends.

But that feeling of envy only lasted a short time because I found out about a new app available for both Iphones and Android smart phones. Evi.

This app is basically a mirror image of Siri. Talk or text any command, question or statement and watch Evi do it’s best to help you out. Like any new app, it still has a little reconfiguring and debugging, but it still gets the job done with only better performance ahead.

Another app that I found to be very useful was Smartr for the Iphone. This app was launched on Tuesday and aims a consolidating your social media friends, phone contacts, and email address book. The app also offers analytic information on you and that contact’s interactions on all three of these communication mediums. You can also compare mutual friends and begin to grow your contact base. I personally like it so I can go to one place to contact my friends, colleagues, or business contacts in any way that I need.

Smart phones are here to stay and keeping up with all the new features is essential in keeping up with our face paced society. These apps, along with countless others, make life easier on us.
