Tutorials and All Their Uses
May 7, 2011 No CommentsOne of the things people use to learn things quickly are tutorials. And it’s easy to see why, they give you simple instructions to follow along with and show you the proper way to do things. I’ve used a couple of tutorials here and there, but the way I usually learn is just jumping in and trying trial and error. Sure, it’s probably slower, and way sloppier, but you tend to get a better, more personal understanding than you would just following along with a tutorial. To me, tutorials are really more for the basics. Anything after that should be experimentation, and finding your own way around how something works. So how would you do it; would you follow along with the tutorial, or just jump in and see for yourself?
