Trapped in A Situation

I was once trapped in a situation where I had to listen to a person talk for a very long period of time. One of the things I hate the most is when someone just sits and talks for a long time, and most likely they aren’t even aware that they’re being very annoying. My usual plot to get out of these is faking using the bathroom or giving myself a fake time constraint, and that usually works. But there are those times when it doesn’t, and those are horrible. If you hate these too, you’ve probably learned to avoid people who do this pretty well, and I say good for you. But was there ever a time when you got caught in one of these situations?
