America the Not-So-Free

June 11, 2011 No Comments

For those of you that have vowed to “do the right thing” and cut out oil from your lifestyle, I’d be interested in hearing from you. I’m curious to find out if it is easier or harder than you thought it was going to be, and if it has made you think differently about your lifestyle, our country or oil in general. According to an article I read which you can find right here, people are realizing that it isn’t as easy as they had imagined, and that most of our lives revolve around oil in ways you wouldn’t have even thought. For example, if you have plastic ware in your kitchen, you are supporting the use of petroleum. So if you have attempted this sort of lifestyle change, whether you were successful or not, we would love to hear from you!
