April 27, 2011 No CommentsNewspapers vs. the Internet
This website here lists some great facts that you all should really look into. One of them states that to produce each week’s Sunday newspapers, 500,000 trees must be cut down. That’s a lot of trees, but is getting the news from the internet better for the environment in the end? There is one things that is clear, and that is if people gave up their routine of reading the newspaper every morning and went to the news websites, all of those trees wouldn’t have to die. There is also a device called Kindle which you can get the news from that claims to be better for the environment, according to ezinearticles.com. Do some of your own research by visiting The Daily Green to read about the Ipad and how it may or may not be better for the environment. Let us know what you think.
