Leafy Tips: Scribbles

The Importance of your doodle-book

This one goes out to mostly graphic designers out there. Many of you own a sketchbook or doodle pad, or maybe you even keep your drawings on your computer. It is important to never ever get rid of your artwork. Your artwork whether it is from college or from elementary school can be used to inspire, develop, and progress your artistic abilities. There are so many uses for your unused and old artwork, you can take inspiration from a previous piece to apply in a new piece of art, or you can just apply that old artwork into a new design of yours, or even create an artistic collage of all your different illustrations. There are no limitations to the things you could do. Some of my ideas for fun stuff would be to combine you art pieces into a mural like my friend did (I will include a picture), create wallpaper with copies of your artwork, build 3-d cubes of your artwork and hang them from the ceiling for a decorative idea, or create a timeline of your artwork from when you were little to now. There are so many things you could do with this, what are some of your ideas?
