May 21, 2011 No CommentsThere’s nothing like a nice warm home cooked meal, and that is especially true this time of year, as summer approaches and we bring out all of the warm-weather foods. However, I have a suggestion that will help you have a greener Summer. Whenever you can, avoid using the oven to cook, and instead use the microwave. A conventional oven or stove uses up more energy than is necessary. That means when you are cooking up those mashed potatoes or green beans to go with the BBQ, you should try using the Microwave. It’s quick too. If you decide to be green this summer, please let us know what you do to be eco-friendly.
