5 Unique Recycling Tips
July 7, 2011 No CommentsRecycling Tips You Will Want to Try
I am not a very creative person, especially when it comes to recycling. I stand in front of the recycling bin and ask myself “Could I use this for something else?” but nothing comes to mind and into the recycling bin it goes. However, I came across a few useful recycling tips I thought would be interesting to try.
- Kleenex boxes – Store plastic grocery store bags in them. You can then grab the bag just as if you grab a tissue out of the box.
- Happy Meal boxes – Save the boxes, and when your child needs to be cheered up, make them their own happy meal.
- Zip lock bags – Wash and rinse bags then store them in the freezer to prevent mildew.
- Egg cartons – Use to make seed starter trays in the summer time.
- Old clothes – Get creative and use them to make quilts, pillows, and blankets.
#1 has been the most useful for me since I like things to be kept together and organized while #3 did put a smile on my nieces’ face. Which is most useful for you?
