Relax and Charge Your Battery

A group of BelgradeUniversitystudents (Serbia) invented “Strawberry Tree”, a public mobile device charger that uses solar energy to work. This device looks like a regular spot in the park where anybody could take a rest.

Because we live in a digital world, the number of mobile devices is growing fast. All of these devices require energy to work, and a “low battery” sign is always unpleasant and annoying. Plus, like many of you undoubtedly probably feel, I feel naked without my phone. Public charging stations seem like a great idea.

The public mobile device charger can be used in public places such as streets, parks, and squares, to provide solar energy anytime. It can charge almost any mobile device: cellphones, tablets, iPads, iPods, cameras, etc.
