Garbage Power
May 17, 2011 No CommentsGarbage is an ever present problem that we need to deal with sooner rather than later. While recycling programs are helpful, there is still a large chunk of garbage that heads to the landfill every day. One solution for this involves a machine invented by the Japanese company Blest. Their machine, which is portable and uses only a kilowatt of power, gradually heats plastics and melts them down to a flammable liquid which could be used to power many combustion engines. Additionally, this practice could help reduce dependence on foreign sources of oil. What do you think about this machine?
