The Hunting Ground
May 24, 2011 No CommentsAlmost always whenever I make a website for a client they want or it will require me to use some sort of JavaScript functionality. Now I’m no expert in JavaScript – I can provide basic functionality like an image slider or content remover and the likes but I do not know enough to make crazy effects like most JavaScript plugins have. Usually projects limit the amount of time I can spend developing it so I cannot program a script that fits their needs. Now though it’s 2011 and we do not have to reinvent the wheel (or any JavaScript Plugin). There are so many JavaScript libraries out there that one Google search will easily bring up thousands of results and most of the time you will find what you’re looking for on the first page. I no longer have to do this though because of an amazing website called The Hunting Groundwhich I will leave a link at the end of this post. It is pretty much this big JavaScript library where you can find anything and everything to fit your clients JavaScript needs. On top of the ease of access you the code behind each plugin is so good that you can easily morph them into multiple scenarios that will fit your need. Do you have any favorite website where you find code or plugins? Do you still develop your own JavaScript code every time a page requires JavaScript?
