Open Source
April 25, 2011 No CommentsI am a firm believer that if there’s something you need done, there’s probably a simple and cheap way to get it done. This is the same principle with open source programs and programming. Whenever I come to a problem, and it seems like the only option is to buy this very expensive program, the only thing I need to look for then is an open source program that most likely does the same thing and more. Now, this doesn’t mean that I’m putting down the programs you have to pay for, because usually they have features you can’t find in one package, but for one or two things, it’s probably better to just find something free that does the same thing. So is there an open source program that you rely on?
