Finding Help
June 20, 2011 No CommentsI believe that learning on your own is an important part of web development. You can only learn so much from schools and some of the stuff you learn in school you won’t even use. On top of this as a developer you will always have to keep on top of these changes. Being in this field means you never stop learning. There are a few steps you can take before actually giving up on a project or asking the people around you. The first and most obvious is GOOGLE! Google is an amazing tool especially in terms of web development. There are very few times that I’ve searched something at Google and not come back with a good result. The next thing you can do is join an online community such as forums and ask your question there. This is very helpful because it not only helps you learn but sometimes the people answering your question. If your question is answered though make sure to give back to the community and comment on other community member’s questions if you can. If after that you still have no found the answer ask the people around you such as a co-worker or boss; if they don’t know maybe they know somebody who does – ask for their email. There are many ways to find answers in the web development world. How do you find help if you’re stuck?
