Internet Explorer 10 Already?!?
April 13, 2011 No CommentsWow Microsoft – When IE first hit the scene it was spot on! The standards were up to date (Because there were not much for standards back then) all the way up to IE7 – then it goes downhill… Lagging behind other browsers in both speed and w3c standards for years. Finally you release the anticipated Internet Explorer 9 and it is decent. Nothing innovative but I can’t complain because at least it is fast and compliant with web standards of today. I would figure you would go with oh I don’t know: Automatic Updates like all the other browsers hitting the scene but nooooo…
As it turns out Microsoft announced earlier this week that Internet Explorer 10 is already a few weeks in development and is shaping up to be a release for either late this year or early next year. Maybe it will be released with Windows 8 which is set for release next year. It seems like Windows 7 was just released and they already have a new operating system in the making?!? It took them 4 years to migrate from Vista to Windows 7 – why the rush all of a sudden? Needless to say I’m not too enthusiastic about these choices by Microsoft, I’m still getting the hang of Windows 7. Are you ready for Internet Explorer 10? How about Windows 8? Do you think all this is necessary?
