Teefury: Tee Today, Gone Tomorrow

January 27, 2012 No Comments

If you’ve surfed the internet at least once in your life, then you’ve probably stumbled across one of the plethora of online t-shirt sites such as BustedTees or SnorgTees. Sure these sites have hilarious tees with images and situations based on pop culture or cult classics, but rarely are these shirts well designed or, for that matter, beautiful. If you have not come across TeeFury yet, then I introduce to you one of the most unique t-shirt selling websites online.

Unlike the other t-shirt sites, TeeFury only has one shirt available for purchase during a 24 hour period. Every night at 11pm Central Time, a new design by a new artist is posted. The shirts always cost a flat $10 plus a very reasonable $2.50 shipping charge no matter which size you choose. My favorite part is that they offer girl’s fitted tees instead of the usual flat adult size.

The designs are chosen not only by the TeeFury team but also by the community. Anyone can submit a design directly to the “curators” or submit a design to one of the many forums. Here, your design can gain attention and be picked up by the curators without ever submitting it. If your design is chosen, side art is also featured from your collection and TeeFury pays attention to what people have to say about it.

This is a great site to come to for inspiration alone. The designs could be by anyone anywhere in the world including you. But I warn you, TeeFury can be incredibly addictive. Once you buy your first shirt, you will want to buy more and more. I alone have purchased 10 shirts since I began following the site in late 2010.

So check it out! And if you purchase a tee from TeeFury or have something to say about the site, let us know!
