Creativity Tips

Sometimes, when the mood strikes me, I like to call myself a writer. And, as with almost every other field that calls for creativity, being original can be tough. One of the things most people do wrong in this case is TRY. It sounds crazy, but whenever you try to force something, the results always seem to come out stilted and wrong. The idea is to let ideas flow and come naturally to you. Thinking about something else completely can often lead to a great idea. This principle can be applied to almost anything, if you know how to do it. So what do you think? How do you usually come up with your creative ideas?
