Why Stumble Upon is amazing for Inspiration

The Web is obviously a great tool to use for finding and distributing information but have you ever found yourself dragging threw site after site finding nothing that interests you? The fact is the way these search engines determine who will find what creates a very narrow range of places you will actually experience. But what I love to do when searching for inspiration for design is to use the site Stumble Upon. What Stumble Upon does is help you create a filter so that the only sites that you experience are the sites you are actually wanting to “stumble upon”. Plus, believe it or not, if your a designer you can run into some amazing sites for tutorials, blogs, resources and most important inspiration.

Whenever I get into a bind on a project I always find myself running to http://www.stumbleupon.com to see if I may find something interesting to boost my creativity. One of the best features of this site is that you can even save the sites that you want to visit again in your own personal database and its absolutely free!
